Actual vs. Planned Entities
When you are entering your client's information into the Nexus plan wizard, you will see an option to indicate whether an account, annuity, or insurance product is 'actual' or 'planned'. This article will discuss the difference between these two entity types.
Actual Entities
Actual entities are accounts, annuities, or insurance products that your client currently holds and exist in their current investment portfolio. When entering the details for these actual entities, you simply need to enter the entity details as they exist in your client's portfolio.
Actual entities are indicated on Nexus by the hourglass symbol seen above.
Planned Entities
Planned entities are accounts, annuities or insurance products that do not currently exist outside of the Nexus system. These could be accounts, annuities or insurance products that your client would like to add to their portfolio or that you have suggested to the client to improve their probability of success.
Planned entities are indicated on Nexus by the compass symbol seen above.
